- With the Xen crank, Aerozine offers a lightweight, hollow-forged crank that, thanks to its variable crank spider, can be adapted for all bike types and uses: from road tandems to fat bike tandems, from gravel tandems to touring tandems.
- The low weight is achieved by the 30mm crankshaft made of 7075-T6 aluminum, which offers immense rigidity.
- Optional chainring spiders ensure quick and easy adjustment to the needs of the respective application (road bike/road, touring, mountain bike).

130mm - 5-arm regular is the "classic" road bike chainring bolt circle pattern with a bolt offset of 72° per hole. This allows you to use all chainrings with a similar bolt circle pattern, as is common with Shimano, FSA, Specialités-TA, Gebhart, and many other manufacturers.
The use of track chainrings and thus the use of more massive 1/2"x1/8" chains is also possible. -
104/64mm - 4-arm regular is the classic MTB chainring with a bolt pitch of 90°. This allows the use of all chainrings with a similar bolt circle pattern, as is common with Shimano, FSA, Specialités-TA, Gebhart, and many other manufacturers.
The use of track chainrings and thus the use of more massive 1/2"x1/8" chains is also possible.

- ALS (Adjust Length System): By using eccentrics on the pedal mount, the crank length can be easily adjusted. For example, a 170mm eccentric can be turned into a 175mm crank. Optionally, an effective crank length of 172.5 mm is also possible using a different insert.

Crankshaft length depends on the selected bottom bracket width of your bicycle frame. For 68mm road tandems, shims must be included on the left and right sides of the crankshaft, as the crankshaft is designed for the "new" installation dimension of 85.5 or 86.5mm. These are not included.
