Thanks to the ROTOR Direct Mount system, the 3D+ crankset can be configured quickly and easily. Changing chainrings requires no special tools or technical expertise – a standard Allen key is sufficient. Whether used with conventional round chainrings or the proven ROTOR Q-Rings oval chainrings, the system allows precise adaptation to the rider’s personal biomechanics and riding style.

Individual adjustment with ROTOR Direct Mount technology

The Direct Mount system of the ROTOR 3D+ enables precise adjustment of oval chainrings in 1-degree increments. This allows the position of ROTOR Q-Rings to be optimized according to individual pedalling characteristics, improving pedalling efficiency and providing a smoother power delivery.

Several chainring combinations are available for the ROTOR 3D+ in a lightweight one-piece design, machined from a single aluminium block. These versions combine excellent stiffness with a very low system weight of less than 600 grams.

Alternatively, the crankset can be configured with a lightweight Direct Mount spider and separate individual chainrings.

Premium materials and advanced manufacturing technology

The crank arms of the ROTOR 3D+ are manufactured from high-quality 7055 aluminium, using a combination of cold forging and CNC machining. The proven ROTOR Trinity Drilling System technology further reduces weight while maintaining outstanding strength.

The three internal drillings optimize the material distribution inside the crank arm. The result is an excellent balance between low weight, high stiffness and exceptional durability – ideal for demanding road cyclists and racing applications.

Maximum compatibility with 30 mm axle system

The ROTOR 3D+ features an ultra-stiff 30 mm UBB aluminium axle, providing wide compatibility with numerous common bottom bracket standards.

The increased contact surface between axle and crank arm improves power transmission and ensures reliable performance even under high loads.

This version is equipped with a professional P2M power meter for accurate power measurement during training and racing. Precise watt data allows structured training, performance analysis and optimized race preparation.
