Practical tool for securely holding the driver in place if the oil seal replacement tool has become stuck on the driver of the Rohloff® gear hub.
Only compatible with the Rohloff® sprocket remover (manufacturer no. 8508, not included), as illustrated in the image. Simply fit it onto the sprocket remover, hold it in place with your fingers on the knurled surface, and then turn the oil seal replacement tool counterclockwise to unscrew it from the thread. In case of severe jamming, the 24 mm hexagon can be used with any standard socket, ring spanner or open-end wrench. A continuous bore allows the tool to be fixed with a quick-release skewer or an M5 threaded rod.
