- Professional Oil Seal Replacement Tool: Complete tool kit for the professional replacement of radial shaft oil seals on Rohloff® Speedhub gear hubs. This specialized tool is essential for correct and easy installation and reliably prevents damage to the sensitive oil seals.
- High compatibility: suitable for all Speedhub gear hubs with 135 mm and 170 mm axle widths.
- Tool consisting of parts for (dis)assembly and 1 pair of replacement oil seals
- Optimized functionality: Functionally identical to the original Rohloff replacement tool (manufacturer no. 8503). Extended with additional small parts for replacing the oil seal on the Speedhub XL for fat bikes. Slightly modified to allow the oil seal to be replaced with the brake disc mounted, while significantly reducing the operating force required for pressing in the seal.
Instead of wing nuts, robust Allen screws are supplied – a 3 mm Allen key is required for operation and fixation (not included). - The use of the tool is explained in older Speedhub user manuals from page 14 onwards. The digital version can be found under this link (pages 120–122) or in this video tutorial (in English).
- Important note: Due to the design, we recommend using the cyclus Tools® sprocket remover for Rohloff® hub (manufacturer no. 7202723) to hold the driver on the right-hand side of the hub, in combination with a 32 mm socket, instead of the original Rohloff® tool (manufacturer no. 8508) to remove the tool from the driver thread. See Figure 23 on page 124 under this link.
In rare cases, if the tool is tightened too firmly when pressing in the oil seal, it may become stuck on the driver thread. To loosen it, the driver must be held in place using the sprocket remover. This can be done with this optionally available tool.
Ein tolles Tool, leider ohne jede Beschreibung. Der Hinweis auf das Handbuch reicht nicht, da die Anleitung in den neueren Handbüchern nicht mehr zu finden ist (Rohloff macht den Simmeringwechsel nur selber im Werk), und das Youtube-Video ist nicht so präzis, daß man danach arbeiten kann. Hier ist eine detailierte Anleitung nötig!

I couldn't find this kit anywhere in the UK so ordered from here. Very quick delivery and the tools and seals worked perfectly. My hub is now oil tight, no more oil on the rear brake disc rotor. Thank you.
